Hot Dinners and Free School Meals

Free school meals is a service that is available when your child first starts school up to the age of 18 as long as they are in full time education. If you think your child would qualify, please apply as this also offers your school additional funding called Pupil Premium.


If you are in receipt of any of the following, your child may be eligible for the free school meals service.

  • Income Support 
  • Income based Job Seekers Allowance 
  • Income related Employment and Support Allowance
  • Support under Part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999
  • Child Tax Credit, with no element of Working Tax Credit, and a household income below £16,190 (as assessed by HM Revenue and Customs) 
  • Guarantee Element of State Pension Credit 
  • Universal Credit

Kingswood Catering


School lunches are supplied by Kingswood Education Catering Ltd. Who are a well-established, family owned company specialising in school food. Lunches are freshly prepared every morning to the highest possible standard. The menu allows you to choose from 5 different lunch options every day over a 3 week cycle. Orders must be placed by Wednesday at midnight for the following week. Lunches are charged at £2.30 per day or £11.50 per week.
